DR ABAYOMI. O. OLAJIDE Was born on 6 December, 1978 at Oba-Ademola Maternity
Hospital in Abeokuta, to the families of Chief Ebenezer Oludotun Olajide (Father) and Late
Chief (Mrs) Hannah Oluremi Olajide (Mother).He attended Christ Apostolic Church Primary School, Lantoro, Abeokuta from 1984 to 1988 where he emerged best graduating student in his class.
His Junior Secondary School was at Egba Comprehensive High School, Asero, Abeokuta between 1989 and 1991 with outstanding performance.
His unsatisfied quest for Academic Excellence took him to Prestigious Baptist Boys’ High School, Oke Suje. Abeokuta where he graduated overall best student with 7 distinctions and 2 credits in 1994.
Abayomi, enrolled for Medical and Surgery at the Premier University, University of Ibadan in 1995.
He went through the rigour of Medical School and finally came out from the crucible in October 2002 as a qualified Medical Doctor.
He had his compulsory Housemanship at Federal Medical Centre Abeokuta between December, 2002 and January 2004 where he emerged second overall best House Officer.
Price to his graduation, he bagged 3 scholarship Awards: Egba at Leventis Scholarship, Ogun
State Government Scholarship and Federal Government Scholarship.
Biography
Dr Olajide has been involved in Clinical Practice, training of medical students and resident doctors including other visiting students of other mental health team.
He had a career in Psychiatry spanning from one and a half decade, has attended several short courses, workshops and conferences, within and outside the country.
